Why Nothing's Worked Yet

Team Training Alone Will Never Be Enough

Most parents assume club training is enough. It isn't, and it's not the club's fault. Here's why the usual approaches leave gaps.

1 "They already train 4 nights a week"

Team training teaches team play. It doesn't teach your kid how to control a ball under pressure, finish one on ones, or receive on the half-turn. Those are individual skills that need individual coaching, and they don't get practised in a squad of 20.

2 "We tried a private coach before"

Most private coaches run generic cone drills and call it development. If the coach hasn't actually played at a high level, they can't teach what high-level football feels like. The speed, the pressure, the decision-making. They're teaching from textbooks, not from experience.

3 "They watch YouTube tutorials"

YouTube can show technique. It can't correct bad habits in real time, adapt the session to your kid's weaknesses, or push them when they need pushing. Information isn't coaching.

4 "They'll develop naturally as they get older"

The players who make it to NPL, academy, and beyond aren't the ones who waited around. They're the ones who were doing extra from age 10, building the technical foundation so deeply that under pressure, the skill is second nature.

What You Get

Inside A Typical Session

Every session is tailored to the player in front of us. But most move through these four areas, designed to build complete technical players, not just kids who can do a few tricks.

Pillar 1 Speed & Agility Warm-Up

Football-specific movement work that builds the physical base. Variations with the ball so every minute is productive. No standing around in lines.

Pillar 2 Ball Mastery

Close control, manipulation, comfort on the ball under pressure. The foundation that separates technically strong players from everyone else on the pitch.

Pillar 3 Passing & First Touch

Receiving, playing forward, switching play, and making it all look easy. We work on the moments that actually decide games. The first touch that creates space. The pass that breaks a line.

Pillar 4 Finishing

Every session ends with shooting and finishing drills. Because nothing builds a young player's confidence like seeing the ball hit the back of the net, and knowing exactly how they did it.

FAQ

Questions We Get A Lot

Most things parents and players want to know before they book. Tap any question to see the answer.

Who is this coaching for? Is there an age limit?

All ages, all levels. Group sessions are most popular with kids and teens. 1-on-1 private coaching is open to kids, teens, and adults, including total beginners, returning players, and serious club or pro-level athletes.

If you can kick a ball, or want to learn how, there's a session for you.

Where are sessions held?

We're based in the North Shore of Sydney, Australia. Exact pitch locations will be provided once we're in contact. We expect all players to come to us.

Will it be Ryan or Hugo coaching the session?

Depending on our schedule, sessions are run by Ryan, Hugo, or both of us together. We rotate week to week. One week might be Ryan, the next will be Hugo.

That means over time you get coaching from two different perspectives, both with elite playing backgrounds. Same program, same standard, same price either way. And if you're lucky, you might get both of us at the same session.

How do group sessions work?

Bring a friend, a sibling, a teammate, or anyone you'd like to train with. Group sessions are $60 per player instead of $100 for 1-on-1.

Same hour, same coaching, same standard. Just split between the group. The more players you bring, the lower the per-player cost.

How long is each session?

All sessions run for 1 hour.

Can I book a one-off session or do I need to commit?

Yes, you can book a single session with no commitment. You're welcome to try us out first. If you'd like something more consistent, we also offer a monthly subscription or a 10 week program, but there's no pressure to commit upfront.

What should I (or my child) bring?
  • Football boots
  • Shin pads
  • Water bottle
  • Training gear

We provide the balls, bibs, and everything else.

How do I pay?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once you submit the booking form, we'll be in touch with session details and a payment link. Payment must be completed prior to the session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made on the same day as an afternoon or evening session, or after 7:00pm the night before a morning session, will incur the full session fee. If you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible. We understand genuine emergencies happen and exceptions may be considered at our discretion.

Do you offer refunds?

For individual training sessions, yes. If you're not satisfied, you can request a refund, no questions asked. Refund requests must be made within a reasonable timeframe following the session.
